New Moon April 15, 2018

The next New Moon will be here tomorrow night on April 15, 2018. New moons bring new beginnings. It is a time to plant the seeds of what it is that you want to bring into your life.

A new moon is a great time to get rid of what no longer serves us as well. Whether it be a relationship, toxic people, unhealthy foods and even the way we mistreat ourselves. It's time to bring in more self love, more discipline to healthier living and new ideas and projects that you have been putting off or meaning to start.

Remember to write these things down that you would like to bring into your life.....big and small! Also make a list of the things that no longer serve you. What things have been weighing you down and causing stress? Include those on your list but you can also add a positive twist to that. For example, if there is a relationship that isn't healthy in your life, whether it be a friendship, a family member or even someone you work with, you can write that down but then add that you truly wish them well and send them on their way. We can always find something positive in anything, even if it is tiniest inkling of positivity, it still means that you are trying with good intention.

Now you can burn those lists in the moonlight and if you really want to go the ritual route, you can bury the ashes in the ground, giving it back to Mother Earth. Or you can just let the ashes smolder in the fire. If you can't or would rather not burn your list, you can always just tear it up or shred it. It's just all about doing something for the highest good.

It is a good idea though to keep the positive ideas on a separate paper, or you can create a vision board and post it somewhere as a reminder of what you are trying to bring into your life. You could even post positive sayings and words on it for a reminder of more self love instead of self sabotage.

New beginnings, new ideas, new you.

As always, be grateful and thankful to the Universe for listening.

Namaste
